MakeUp in Paris celebraterd its Innovation & Trends (IT) Awards at the show at the Carrousel du Louvre on June 14th and 15th. Thirty-one skincare and makeup products we selected as nominees from a record-breaking pool of over 117 contenders in various categories.

The four top winners are shown above—they are:

  • MS BeautiLab’s Supernova Green Powder is the winner in the Formulation category. (Shown above, top left).

  • TrendColor’s coCOOLmelon Blush is the winner in the Full Service category. (Shown above, bottom left).

  • Texen’s Multi Intensity Brush is the winner in the Accessories category. (Shown above, top right).

  • LIBO Cosmetics’ Venus Rechargeable Lipstick in the Packaging category. (Shown above, bottom right).
To determine the winners, a panel of 10 international experts, who form the jury, convened last May.

Here’s more about the winners.

MS BeautiLab’s Supernova Green Powder—the Formulation Winner

MS BeautiLab’s Supernova Green Powder is an injectable powder formulated with 99% ingredients of natural origin and certified natural cosmos raw materials.

While eliminating microplastics, talc, silicones and my synthetic film-forming agents, the powder has an ultra- sensorial, creamy texture that offers high-performance rendering and a high level of shine.

TrendColor’s coCOOLmelon Blush—the Full Service Winner

TrendColor’s coCOOLmelon Blush offers “an immersive sensory experience,” the supplier says, with a hybrid skincare-makeup formula. Based on watermelon pulp and seed oil, the blush case is inspired by the freshly picked fruit.

When you open the Belotti-designed case, pigments and active ingredients float inside the base like watermelon seeds—dispensing a watermelon-scented creamy blush that’s easy to blend.

Texen’s Multi-Intensity Brush—the Accessories Winner

Texen’s Multi-Intensity Brush has an innovative rotating mechanism that allows you to adjust the length and density of the tuft to create a complete face make-up look with a single brush.

In addition to this single-material (PBT) mechanism, the brush’s tuft, handle and ferrule can be customized in terms of shape and material.

LIBO Cosmetics’ Venus Rechargeable Lipstick—the Packaging Winner

LIBO Cosmetics’ Venus lipstick is 100% aluminum, including the cap and shell. It is refillable and customizable with a range of luxurious finishes, including matte, satin and gloss metallic.

Special Mention Honorees

Two products received recognition as Special Mentions. They are:
  • Aircos, Anjac Health & Beauty’s Hypnotic Very Noir—a compact eyeshadow with an ultra-sensorial creamy-powdery texture and intense, golden-black metallic effect. (Shown above, left)

  • Chromavis Fareva’s Maya—a new technology enabling multi-color heat-cast visuals with high relief and definition down to 1 centimeter. It is presented in a cast texture formulated with 94% natural ingredients. It has an extra slippery, creamy texture and a 3D look that’s vibrant, showcasing its deep colors. (Shown above, right)
